Bio
Robyn Pasternack is a Lecturer in ballet at the University of Central Oklahoma teaching all levels of ballet technique, pointe and variations, ballet history and teaching methods. She received her Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Oklahoma as well as her Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Utah. Her professional career has included performing with the OffCenter Dance Company in New York, Utah Ballet, Fort Worth City Ballet, Dance New Mexico, as well as Praire Dance Theater and Festival Ballet in Oklahoma. Mrs. Pasternack has had a lengthy teaching career spanning over a twenty year period. She has taught at the prestigious Virginia School of the Arts as well as Randolf Macom Woman's College in Virginia, Burklyn Ballet in Vermont, Classen School of Advanced Studies in Oklahoma City, and the University of Oklahoma. Mrs. Pasternack has performed in numerous ballets such as Swan Lake, Giselle, Midsummer Night's Dream, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Pas de Quatre and a variety of contemporary and original works by choreographers throughout the country. She recently started the Dance and Down Syndrome program offering pre ballet and a musical theatre workshops to children and adults with Down syndrome.
