Bio
A veteran professional actor, Darryl Cox’s career spans the spectrum of major film and television productions. Among his credits are roles in feature films including Arlington Road, Robocop, Necessary Roughness, A Perfect World, and Bottle Rocket. His television drama appearances include NYPD Blue and L.A. Law. He has also appeared in many TV movies and mini-series including Muhammad Ali: King of the World, Witness to the Execution, North & South and James Michener’s Texas. Sitcoms, daytime soaps and children’s shows include NBC’s Knight & Daye with Jack Warden, General Hospital and Wishbone.

Darryl has worked opposite actors including Tim Robbins, Helena Bonham Carter, Hal Holbrook, Jeff Bridges, Dennis Franz, Owen Wilson, Brandon Lee, Peter Weller, JoBeth Williams, Joan Cusack, Jack Warden, Scott Bakula, Jimmy Smits, Lou Diamond Phillips, Miguel Ferrer, Patrick Swayze, Timothy Dalton, Sean Young, Daniel J. Travanti, Michael Chiklis, Martha Plimpton, Helen Hunt, Tim Daly, Bill Paxton, Alan Ruck, Luke Wilson, Kyle Secor, Chuck Norris and Howard Keel. He has been directed by, among others, Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone, Paul Verhoeven, Mark Pellington and Wes Anderson.

He has additional credits in dozens of national and regional TV commercials, as well as roles on stages from Charleston, South Carolina to Los Angeles. Darryl has taught film acting at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and at Adam Roarke’s Film Actor’s Lab in Dallas. He is an active member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
