The University of Central Oklahoma's School of Music will host a free concert featuring internationally acclaimed soprano and visiting artist Barbara DeMaio Caprilli at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 7 at the UCO Jazz Lab.
Caprilli will perform arias and Italian art songs, Broadway favorites and spirituals.

In addition to her performance at the Jazz Lab, Caprilli will also teach master classes to UCO students.
"The Vocal Arts Division in the School of Music is delighted to have the opportunity to bring Ms. Caprilli to our campus," said Dr. Barbara Streets, division head for the Vocal Arts in the UCO School of Music.
"Ms. Caprilli's work with our students, vocal performance majors, music education majors and music theater majors, beginners to advanced, will enhance their artistic development as they strive for excellence."
