UCO Jazz Lab to Host 'It's a German Thing'

The University of Central Oklahoma's School of Music presents "It's a German Thing," at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 through 15 at the UCO Jazz Lab.

Students from the UCO Opera Workshop will present a concert celebrating songs and opera scenes performed in German.

"This evening will showcase a variety of musical styles from Germanic composers such as Mozart, Strauss, Schubert and Brahms," said Kevin Eckard, director of UCO's opera program.

"We are excited to showcase a lot of new voices as well as some of our upperclassmen in this wonderful educational opportunity. I know the audiences will enjoy the variety of music and entertainment."

The cost is $5 for students and adults.
