UCO Senior Art Exhibit to Highlight Student Work

University of Central Oklahoma senior art students will present their work in an exhibit titled “12 Artists,” beginning with an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 9, on the second floor of the Omniplex Science Museum.

The exhibit will feature various mediums including sculpture, metalwork, jewelry, painting, drawing and ceramics.

“For the senior show, the students must create all aspects of the exhibit, from framing the work to choosing the food and music for the opening night,” said Charleen Weidell, UCO Art Department chairperson.

“The end result is a museum-quality presentation for the public.”

The exhibit ends Nov. 30. Admission is free.
