UCO Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band to Present Holiday Concert

The University of Central Oklahoma`s School Of Music will present the UCO Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band in “City Sidewalks…Dressed in Holiday Style,” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at UCO’s Mitchell Hall Theater.

Led by Dr. Brian Lamb, the director of bands at UCO, the musicians will perform holiday favorites such as “Silver Bells,” “Three City Blocks,” and “Brooklyn Bridge,” featuring a clarinet solo by well-known Oklahoma musician, Jerry Neil Smith.

The UCO Wind Symphony is a performing ensemble in the band division of the UCO School of Music. Last year, by invitation, the group performed to an audience of 2,000 at New York City`s Carnegie Hall.
