UCO Summer Drama Day Camp Now Accepting Registration

The University of Central Oklahoma's Department of Theatre, Dance & Media Arts is now accepting registration for its annual Drama Day Camp June 9 through 13 and June 16 through 20.

The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with classes offered in acting, stage combat, theatre crafts, voice and movement. During the final day of each weeklong camp, the participants will put on a production for friends and family at 5:30 p.m.

The camp is open to children ages 7 through 12. Registration is $100 per student per week. Space is on a first come, first served basis. An afternoon snack will be provided but participants must bring a sack lunch.

This year's camp is being sponsored by the Oklahoma Center for Arts Education (OCAE). In 2002, the College of Arts, Media & Design at UCO established the OCAE to cultivate, promote and strengthen arts education programs in Oklahoma schools and communities.
