UCO`S Upcoming "Super Saturday`s Of Dance" Features Two Artists in Modern and Contemporary Dance

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Department of Theatre, Dance and Media Arts continues its “Super Saturdays of Dance” with a master class in modern dance by Susan Douglas Roberts on Oct. 28 and Loretta Livingston on Nov. 4.
Roberts is the artistic advisor and founding director of Contemporary Dance/Fort Worth and a professor at Texas Christian University. She has studied modern dance, contemporary styles and ballet for the past 25 years.
Roberts has taught at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Spain, the National Ballet in Para-guay and the Chinese Culture

Arts High School in Taiwan. Her choreo-
graphy has been seen in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy and Germany.
Livingston is a dance professor at the University of California-Irvine and the artistic director of Loretta Livingston & Dancers, a performance ensemble based in Los Angeles, Calif.
An experimenter, Livingston creates dance performance events that mix improvisation with set choreographies and expands her work with visual and video collaborations.
She has entertained throughout the United States and Canada, as well as in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Switzerland.
Master classes are $15 per person and are open to students ages 12 and up.
Each class runs from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is taught in the Health and Physical Education Building, located behind Mitchell Hall on the UCO Campus.
