UCO to Present Fall Choral Concert

The University of Central Oklahoma School Of Music will present its Fall Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 9 in UCO’s Mitchell Hall Theater.

Led by UCO Director of Choral Studies, Dr. Karl Nelson, the performance will feature the Concert Chorale performing the J. S. Bach cantata, Gottes Zeit, ist die allerbeste Zeit (God's Time is the Very Best Time), BWV 106, with soloists and full instrumental ensemble, as well as the ethereal Kyrie from Frank Martin's Mass for Double Mixed Chorus.

The Cantilena Women’s Chorus will perform Canadian and Venezuelan folksongs, a Latin motet by Mendelssohn, and an arrangement of a song by Samuel Barber.

Tickets to the concert are $8 for adults, $6 for Senior Citizens, $4 for UCO students and $6 for non-UCO students.
