Salsa/Swing Dance Classes to be Offered on UCO Campus

The University of Central Oklahoma's College of Arts, Media & Design will be offering Salsa/Swing dance lessons at 7:30 p.m., March 20 and 27 and April 3 and 10.

The classes will be held in the Health and Physical Education building, located behind Mitchell Hall Theater on the UCO campus.

Professional ballroom dancers David Hyer and Shelby Rothell will teach the class. Hyer and Rothell own and operate Competitive Edge Dance Studio in Oklahoma City and were semi-finalists for the World Championships for American Smooth Ballroom Dancing.

Enrollment for the dance classes is $70 per person for all four weeks, or $20 per lesson, with a portion of the proceeds going to the UCO Dance and Jazz programs.
