Jazz Lab Presents New Year`S Eve Party Featuring Shortt Dogg

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Jazz Lab will host its annual New Year`s Eve Party starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.

The event will feature one of the southwest`s favorite show and dance bands, the award winning group, Shortt Dogg.

Shortt Dogg specializes in playing “Old School Funk.” From high energy R&B, to sweet soulful ballads, this eight-piece cover band provides a wide musical repertoire that spans generations.

"It is a pleasure to have a quality group like Shortt Dogg for our New Year`s Eve party," said Jazz Lab Director Lee Rucker.

"This group has played at the Jazz Lab numerous times throughout the last four years and has sold out all but three- shows."

Guests can also enjoy a pizza buffet and full service bar from Hideaway Pizza.

Admission is $50 per person, which includes the buffet from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and dancing until 12:45 a.m.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the UCO Jazz program and its students.
