Mixed Media Artist to Visit UCO

The University of Central Oklahoma`s Department of Art will feature a public lecture and slideshow by mixed media artist Sandy Lane from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 8 in room 115 of the Education building on the UCO campus.

Lane is the drawing coordinator at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and has held many solo exhibitions.

She specializes in two-dimensional art, incorporating her drafting talent, mixed media, digital imagery and elements of three-dimensional objects.

The lecture and slideshow are free and open

Lane also will provide a workshop for UCO art faculty on her techniques and introduce software specific to drawing.
