Accomplished hip-hop dancer to teach classes at UCO Summer Dadnce Workshop

One of the most highly regarded dancers in Los Angeles is among the guest artists to be featured at the University of Central Oklahoma Summer Dance Workshop, which is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 5-9 on the UCO campus.

Jesselee Santos has toured with national recording artists Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Pink, and also has performed in more than 25 music videos and two national commercials. Santos will teach hip-hop classes at the UCO summer workshop.

Santos joins guest artist Elizabeth Lowe Ahearn who will teach ballet classes at the workshop. Ahearn has performed for the Metropolitan Ballet Company and Ballet Oklahoma.

The summer dance workshop will feature daily classes in ballet, modern, jazz and hip-hop. Dancers must have some experience to register.

Youth, ages 12 through 17 and college/adult tracks are available. The workshop costs $150, and college credit is available.
