UCO’S Central Community Music School
to Hold Chamber Music Camp

The Central Community Music School at the University of Central Oklahoma will hold a "Chamber Music Camp" from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 9 through July 13 in the UCO School of Music Building.
The camp was created for dedicated string students desiring to develop their skills in chamber music and orchestral playing. Students will be grouped into string quartets, trios and other chamber ensembles where they will learn to work as a group and rehearse effectively. A recital will be held on the final day.
The camp is open to students from ages 9 through high school who have at least one year of playing experience and the ability to read music.
Pre-registration and chair auditions will be held June 30 with late auditions held on July 9. Students will be asked to play a 2-3 minute piece of their choice.
Tuition is $175, plus a $25 registration fee.
