High School Students Invited to UCO Acting Workshop

Calling all aspiring high school thespians! The University of Central Oklahoma’s Department of Theatre, Dance and Media Arts will hold its annual "Spring 2007 High School Day," from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Feb. 17, in Mitchell Hall Theater on the UCO campus.

The workshop gives high school student actors the opportunity to attend classes in auditioning, acting techniques, improvisation, stage makeup and stage combat.

In addition, each student will receive tickets to that night`s UCO production of "The Adding Machine," in Mitchell Hall Theater.

High school seniors who attend the workshop also will be able to audition for theatre scholarships.

The event costs $10 per person with dinner provided.

Reservations are required and space is limited.
