UCO Music Faculty Present Holiday Concert

Two University of Central Oklahoma School of Music faculty members will present “Joy,” a concert featuring music for the holiday season at 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located at N.W. 32nd St. and Western Ave. in Oklahoma City.

Soprano Barbara Streets, director of UCO’s Vocal Arts Division, will perform accompanied by a host of UCO music faculty, including Richard Jobe, on organ, Natalie Syring on flute, Doris Morris on violin and Eman Chalshatori on cello.

 “We are excited about being able to present a number of wonderful, interesting, lesser-known works on this program,” said Streets.

“Joy” is the third of four concerts planned in a mini-series of performances and is free and open to the public.
