UCO to Showcase Student Choreographers
April 25, 2007
The University of Central Oklahoma Department of Theatre, Dance and Media Arts will present its spring student choreography showcase featuring modern, jazz, hip-hop and Japanese traditional dance at 7:30 p.m. May 3 at the university’s Mitchell Hall Theater.

Open to all dance majors, the showcase allows senior students interested in choreography to display their talents.
Beeline to the L-Train, a modern dance choreographed by Christine Comtois, depicts the inner-workings of the subway and takes movement cues from the working parts of the train to the people making their daily commutes.
Faith, choreographed by Kayla Jenkins, requires the dancers to wear blindfolds denying them their sense of sight so they may explore their other sensory perceptions.
For tickets or more information, call the Mitchell Hall Box Office at (405) 974-3375.
