Gala to raise money for UCO School of Music

The University of Central Oklahoma School Of Music and the City of Edmond Parks and Recreation Department are partnering to present “MAC by Moonlight” at 5:30 p.m. April 27 at the Edmond Multi-Activity Center (MAC).
Hosted by KFOR’s Kevin Ogle and Edmond Life and Leisure publisher Ray Hibbard, with a special message from Edmond Mayor Saundra Naifeh, “MAC by Moonlight” is a fundraiser for the UCO School of Music, with proceeds going toward scholarship funds.
Guests will enjoy a reception along with dinner and drinks from Boulevard Steakhouse while enjoying entertainment from School of Music faculty and students.
World-renowned opera star and UCO Artist-in-Residence Leona Mitchell will conclude the dinner entertainment with a private performance.
After dinner, guests will be given priority seating for a performance from the UCO Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Percussion Consort and Jazz Band. This portion of the evening is open to the public.
Donors for the event include the University of Central Oklahoma President’s Office, Edmond Parks & Recreation, MidFirst Bank, KCSC, KFOR, Edmond Life & Leisure and Edmond Music.
