UCO seniors exhibit variety of graphic design work

University of Central Oklahoma Graphic Design seniors will exhibit their works in a gallery show titled “Ready or Not, Here we Come,” beginning May 4th at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds’ City Arts Center.

The exhibit; a cross section of print, illustration and new media including video and film, is free to the public and opens with a two-hour reception beginning at 6 p.m.

UCO Design chair Larry Hefner said most of the students plan to submit several pieces featuring a variety of design styles aimed at catching the eye of potential employers.

“Our primary goal is to showcase the students’ work to the professional design community,” said Hefner.

The fourteen students featured in the show will organize all aspects of the exhibit, including design and printing of the invitations, raising money for refreshments, and preparing and mounting the designs.
