arts college in the state! We present more than 200 performing and visual arts events
each year which are open to all students and members of the
community to enjoy.
Each year, our School of Music and Department of Theatre,
Dance and Media Arts showcases their award-winning talents in a packed performing arts season. The UCO Jazz Lab, our live music club, showcases the regions
top jazz and blues performers every Thursday, Friday and Saturday
nights. Our Department of Art and Department of Design fill our galleries
and museums with exhibits that inspire and challenge imaginations.
Tickets are affordable, and some events are even free. So,

The Pillowman

A concert featuring UCO alumni Greg and Miho Fisher in a performance of Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos in E-Flat Major. The Chamber Orchestra will also perform Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings.

UCO Choirs Concert

A Centennial Salute to Oklahoma

Conviction

A routine traffic stop goes terribly wrong in a Texas border town, leading to shots fired and Deputy Sheriff Eduard Gonzalez going to prison for violating the civil rights of a convicted people smuggler. After three years he is released a changed man. Broken and with his life in shambles, he struggles with what action to take against the man he feels put him away.

Don’t Dress For Dinner

This farcical concoction involves a married couple, an old friend, a voluptuous mistress and an outlandish cook who's enlisted to take on different identities in a succession of lies, deceptions and misunderstandings. The plot is a recipe for hilarious confusion with more twists than a corkscrew.

Valery Kuleshov in Concert

Dr. Valery Kuleshov, a pianist, serves as an Artist-in-Residence for the College of Arts, Media & Design in the School of Music. His awards include a Gold Medal at the Busoni International Piano Competition, a Silver medal at the Van Cliborn International Piano Competition and first prize at the Pro Piano Competition.

Metamorphoses

Metamorphoses brings Ovid’s tales to stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, this Tony award-winning play juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect the variety and persistence of narrative in the face of inevitable change.
