Galleries & Collections
The University of Central Oklahoma’s College of Arts Media and Design boasts several venues where students can either display their own work or experience the work of nationally and internationally renowned artists.

Headed by our Director of Galleries and Collections, Zina Gelona, each space offers its own unique educational and cultural experience through its variety of exhibits. For more information, email Ms. Gelona at zgelona@ucok.edu or call (405) 974-2432.

 

About Zina Gelona,
Galleries & Collections Director
A graduate of UCO’s art program, Ms. Gelona oversees the College of Arts, Media & Designs many exhibit spaces, including the Donna Nigh Gallery. She is also an Oklahoma artist who enjoys many avenues of visual imagery. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, she loves photography and watercolor.

UCO Senior Art Exhibit to Feature Layered Paper Drawings and Wire Weavings

April 4 - May 30, Free Admission

Science Museum Oklahoma

Wire weavings and layered paper drawings will be among the works on display when University of Central Oklahoma senior art students present their spring exhibit entitled “The Theory of Everything” at Science Museum Oklahoma. Donna Nigh Gallery - 4th Floor

New work by Rob Smith, Alyson Atchison & Russ Bellamy will be on exhibit beginning Thursday, April 10. The exhibit opens with a reception from 4-6 pm that day featuring free food and drink.  For more information, contact Zina Gelona at 974-2432.

Melton Legacy Collection

Open 9 am-5 pm, Mon-Fri

Melton Art Gallery, Central Museum

View more than 500 years of European and American art, including the collection’s centerpiece Thomas Moran’s “Venice at Sunset.” This collection is on permanent display at the Museum.   Reservations needed for groups of 25 or more.  For more information, call 974-5227.
