Melton Legacy Collection
Donated to the College of Arts, Media & Design in 2002, the collection contains more than 60 paintings and drawings which present an impressive survey of the last 500 years of European and American art. Some of the collection’s earliest works offer examples from the 16th century Spanish and Flemish schools of EL Greco and Peter Paul Reubens. Its centerpiece is an oil painting by Thomas Moran from his famous Venice series, "Venice at Sunset."
