David teaches digital printmaking and drawing in the department of Art. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. He later completed his Masters degree in Fine Arts from Cranbrook Art Academy.

He was the Executive Director for the Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry from 2004-2005. He also taught as a visiting assistant professor at Art/Whitman College for 6 years before coming to UCO.

David has received research grants from Epson America, Abshire Foundation, National Association of Air Traffic Controllers and Western States Arts Foundation

David was born in Witchitaw Falls, Texas and resides with his family in Edmond.
