The UCO College of Arts, Media & Design’s School of Music offers a variety of concerts each season. Our performance groups are some of the most sought after in the region. You can enjoy music from the UCO Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Choirs, Chamber Orchestra, Cello Ensemble and Jazz Ensembles plus many other small performing groups. Our performance groups play at a number of venues including Mitchell Hall Theater, the UCO Jazz Lab, the Y-Chapel of Song and several off-campus sites.

Actress/Singer Shirley Jones, Ballet Oklahoma and the UCO Symphony Orchestra perform the celebratory music and dance numbers made famous in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s award-winning musical, “Oklahoma!” A Broadway Tonight Production.

Our prize-winning international student, Bogdan Asanovic, of Montenegro, will play a sonata recital with Dr Sam Magrill. He will also perform the first movement of Haydn's Cello Concerto with the UCO Chamber Orchestra.

Pure Imagination: The Music of Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

Join us for a "Once in a Lifetime" evening of song from an imaginative pair of songwriters. Featuring hit songs like "Candy Man," "Goldfinger," and tunes from the hit musicals "Jekyll & Hyde," "Doctor Doolittle," and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," Pure Imagination has something for everyone! Valery Kuleshov in Concert ++

Dr. Valery Kuleshov, a pianist, serves as an Artist-in-Residence for the College of Arts, Media & Design in the School of Music. His awards include a Gold Medal at the Busoni International Piano Competition, a Silver medal at the Van Cliborn International Piano Competition and first prize at the Pro Piano Competition.
